Thank you everyone for your help in supporting this worthy cause. You should all be very proud of yourselves! The Rotary Club of Bolton cannot be more pleased by the outpouring of community involvement. The Rotary Club of Bolton recently ran a challenge to the community to donate to Water First Training and Education Drinking Water Internship.  A 15-month paid internship for young Indigenous adults to be trained as Water Operators. We are thrilled with the $10,000. that has been donated  by individuals, schools, Social Justice classes, golfers, seniors, other clubs…so many came forward with generous donations. These donations will be matched by the Rotary Club of Bolton and Rotary International through its Matching Grant Program. This brought awareness to the plight of safe drinking water in our Indigenous communities and the power of Rotary to take action. The Rotary Club of Bolton has matched the $10,000 and presented a $20,000 cheque last week to the District to be multiplied again!
