Caledon Pare'nt Child Centre - support for Let's Get Together

We were pleased to co-present with Palgrave club to donate $12,000. for a program that brings parents together to support their children with disabilities.
A handful of Palgrave and Bolton Rotarians had the immense pleasure of surprising Teresa Colasanti (Executive Director) and Lisa Chin of the Caledon Parent-Child Centre with the fantastic news that our Clubs joined together to co-fund a full year of programming for the Centre's "Let's Get Together" program.

This program is one that our Club has been involved with for a few years and have had the pleasure of meeting some of the families who are in the program when they came to speak. For those who may not be familiar with it, this program is a 2x per month evening program for families with children with special needs. Parenting a child who has special needs is at times a long and arduous journey.  There are times when one feels completely overwhelmed and hopeless.  A place where people understand the joys, successes and the heartaches.  Where parents can share information, resources, opinions and feelings. Where people don’t judge.  Where they know that their children will be cared for and cared about.
