Luminous Kids

UCMAS is the leading provider of Mental Math and Abacus education for children in North America.  The UCMAS program was pioneered in 1993 in Malaysia and has been offered in Canada since 2004.  Over 2 million children have been trained worldwide in the UCMAS program. Our program promotes whole brain development by teaching kids aged 4-­13 to perform mental math using the abacus in a way that children find engaging and fun.  By learning to perform mental calculations quickly and accurately, children expand their mental capacity and develop skills such as memory, concentration, creativity and problem solving – skills that are crucial to success in all areas of study and daily life and inspire them to Discover the Genius within.  We currently offer the UCMAS program through 56 centers across Canada in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and B.C.
